Exercise


Exercise prior to surgery

The NHS has partnered with fitness coach Joe Wicks to release exercise videos for people to get active before surgery to help reduce complications and recover quicker. Two 10 minute videos of exercise, one chair based and the other low impact are ideal for older people.

NHS West Suffolk Foundation Trust recently held an event titled "Looking after your legs – Preventing ulcers and venous disease," featuring Mr. Manjit Gohel, consultant vascular surgeon, who discussed how to protect leg health and reduce the risk of ulcers and venous disease.
