Your local maternity services (LMNS) across Suffolk and North East Essex have created a checklist for women and birthing people, to aid discussion around their health and wellbeing at their 6-8 week GP appointment.
The tool is designed to focus on areas that may be of concern, or that require further guidance. The checklist also includes organisations to seek help before the scheduled GP appointment to ensure women, birthing people and their families feel supported in recovery and early parenthood.
We welcome your feedback on the checklist, and your GP 6-8 week appointment experience to help us improve the service for all across Suffolk and North East Essex.

To support our improvement work, we are asking new parents to feedback their thoughts on the 6-8 week post-birth checklist that was provided before their GP appointment. We are very grateful for your contribution which will help us to focus on improving the experience for women and birthing people across Suffolk and North East Essex.
