Patient Safety
WE WANT YOUR VOICE:
As the Patient Safety Partners for SNEE we are interested in hearing from you and are asking you for your thoughts and experiences in relation to Patient Safety in our local healthcare systems.
The NHS Patient Safety Strategy was first published in 2019 and asks for safer cultures, safer systems, and safer patients. Each year the NHS sets out key priorities for leaders and patient safety specialists on how to embed and improve patient safety in healthcare.

Monday 18th September 2023 marks SNEE's celebration of World Patient Safety Day, a day established by the World Health Organisation (WHO) to bring together a global healthcare focus on the safety of patients. The theme for this year's celebration is 'Engaging Patients for Patient Safety” with the objective being that healthcare stakeholders 'Elevate the Patient Voice'.
We (the Patient Safety Partners for the ICB) want to understand what patient safety means to you, what this looks and feels like, what you think about patient safety now, to find out about any experiences you have had (good and bad) and to understand your thoughts and ideas for how we get better at ensuring the voices of patients are heard and valued and that patients feel empowered to speak up in our healthcare systems.
Your views and experiences will be shared with health care providers across Suffolk and north east Essex.
