learning disabilities

My duaghter had her annual learning disability assesssment.Nice nurse, I have spoken over the last couple of years about constipation. the nurse had spoken to the practice paramedic who siad " she can't cope with the treatment" - he has never met her.GP doesn't care and says it normal to only poo twice per week and produce something an elephant would be proud of.She doesn't understand pain and can't tell me, if she is in pain but I know she is.If he ignores me next week, it will be yet another formal complaint.

This week I completed a four week online study course about the NHS. Designed by the King's Fund, it was a good way to invest about 8 hours of my time. I leaned a great deal about the history, organisation and funding of the NHS and finished with some thoughts on the future for the service. It was a picture of enormous complexity, ever changing demand, the role of advances in technology and medicine and other big issues.
