Feedback Wall

We know that sometimes it feels like no one is listening, or that people don’t understand, or that you don’t feel seen.

This is your space to share your experience, be heard and be seen.

If you have something you would like to tell the partnership about, here is your opportunity – good or bad.

We want to know what happened, how it affected you and what needs to happen next.

What do we want to know? Everything - whether it’s the big stuff like waiting times or school experience right down to the small experiences like a chance encounter with someone in the street. We want to know more.

What will you do with what I say? We will make sure it is shared with the right people in the SEND partnership and, if we can get you a response, we will. We will also make sure the Board hears what you have said so that senior managers know what you think they should be doing next.

Please note the text in the submission box refers to asking a question, but you can tell us anything here, it does not have to be a question.

  • Why does the children's adhd team in Suffolk refuse so many referrals? Why can you only get your child assessed if you kick up a fuss? Why has it taken us two years, a tribunal and a formal complaint just to get an appointment to see someone?

    EmmaBeth asked 7 months ago

    Dear Emma Beth,

Firstly apologies for the poor experience that you and your family have received.

Within Suffolk we are working closely with our providers to reduce waiting times and improve support for families.

The current screening process is being reviewed to ensure children and young people are assessed appropriately and also try to build into the current pathway further support for families whilst they await their assessment.

We apologise again for the poor experience that you and you family have been through.

    Kind Regards
