Unravelling the mysteries of bird migration, Ieuan Evans, BTO
Ieuan Evans is Director of Engagement at BTO, a national charity focused on bird monitoring, with its HQ in Thetford. In this presentation, Ieuan will give an overview of BTO's work, with a special focus on the fascinating stories emerging from their latest work on bird migration. This will include the extraordinary stories uncovered through the use of cutting-edge technology such as satellite and GPS tracking of migrant birds. Ieuan will also provide ideas for ways in which talk attendees can help the plight of our migrant birds as well as other wildlife.
