We want to work with pregnant people, their families, our colleagues in other organisations, and our maternity workforce to develop a maternity and neonatal care strategy that addresses the needs of our communities. Please register with us to be part of the Transformation of our services.
In recent months the Suffolk and North East Essex Clinical Commissioning Groups have been working with pregnant people, parents, carers and colleagues in maternity and neonatal services to develop the 3 core principles of what excellent maternity and neonatal care should feel like for those accessing the services.
We want excellent care that keeps us and our babies safe and well
We want maternity and neonatal care that treats people as individuals, understands and meets their needs regardless of where they live, their background or age
We want different ways of receiving support to give us the best start in parenting and our babies the best start in life
In order to understand what we need to do to achieve these aims we are asking anyone who has had experience of maternity and neonatal services in the last 24 months to share their experiences with us.
Your contribution will help to shape the future of maternity and neonatal service is Suffolk and north east Essex and will have a positive impact in ensuring that our parents and babies have the best possible experience.
