I was referred for an ADHD assessment via RTC in June last year. I got to the end of my estimated wait, to be told by the provider that funding has been put on hold by the ICB. This is very upsetting as I have been struggling my whole life and only recently decided to get help, to then have support always moving just out of reach, with no clear end-point in sight. I would like to know what the current plans are for funding RTC assessments and when these are expected to be funded again, and how long I may need to wait. I am already aware of the issues that have lead to the delay around unregulated private providers / poor quality assessments, but I cannot find any open source of information or publication from SNEE ICB about the specific restrictions or plans to support who desperately need these services.

I live in Framlingham and my surgery is Framlingham Surgery. I used Right to Choose to have an ADHD assessment and got diagnosed in May 2025. Since then I have been waiting for a medical report with confirmation of my diagnosis and awaiting the titration service of the company I chose. The company Holistic ADHD (adhdnet.co.uk) has stopped trading by order of the ICB. What do I do next? I do not have a confirmed written diagnosis. Could I get assessed by another company through RTC?
Marta Camus-Heras asked about 2 months agoThank you for getting in touch via our engagement platform, Let's Talk SNEE. Your question was forwarded to our Patient Advice and Liaison Team who have provided the following response:
"Holistic ADHD Solutions Ltd has been required to temporarily suspend services while concerns around how the organisation is being managed, including risks to consistent and continuous delivery of services. We want to reassure you that this action is a precaution to ensure your care remains safe and well supported without any disruption.
To make sure your care continues safely and without delay, your clinical information is being securely transferred to CARE ADHD. CARE ADHD is a provider commissioned by Norfolk and Waveney ICB under NHS Right to Choose and they will now take over your treatment and medication support.
What happens next
CARE ADHD may ask for your help to get you set up on their clinical system. This may include sending copies of any ADHD assessment reports, outcome reports, or recent clinical letters to help avoid unnecessary reassessment.
Please be assured that CARE ADHD will be contacting all affected patients as soon as they can.
If you have questions about the transfer of your information, or if you wish to object, please contact Norfolk and Waveney ICB via [nwicb.mentalhealthteam@nhs.net]. or consider ADHD.Net FAQs - Norfolk & Waveney Integrated Care System (ICS
Thank you for your patience while we make sure your care continues safely.

We are holding a Health and Wellbeing Information and Networking Event in Haverhill on Wednesday 8 October. Would we be able to share our poster on the next SNEE platform please?
5 months agoThank you for getting in touch via Let's Talk SNEE.
The platform is primarily designed as an interactive tool so simply displaying a poster may not be best way to get the information out to people.
However, I would be happy to include any information in our regular newsletters which go out to all participants registered on the platform (approx. 1200). The newsletter is usually distributed on a Friday, so please send copy to paula.martin@snee.nhs.uk by 10am on Fridays, to be included in that week’s newsletter.

How can I change my appointment for COPD
Barbara chaproniere asked 5 months agoThank you for getting in touch via our engagement platform Let's Talk SNEE.
In order to change an appointment you would need to contact the provider of the service. If it is with your GP or practice nurse you should contact the practice direct. If it is with a hospital clinic, you should contact the relevant hospital.

Patients in North West Ipswich are being asked to travel to Ravenswood for phlebotomy appointments. This involves an often impractical, inconvenient journey which is bad for the environment. Can resources be made available for taking blood samples in West Ipswich other than those who absolutely cannot make the journey?
Albert asked 6 months agoThank you for contacting us via our engagement platform Let's Talk SNEE. The phlebotomy service in Suffolk is run by East Suffolk and North Essex Foundation Trust (ESNEFT). I understand that ESNEFT is currently preparing to go live in October with a new electronic patient record system known as EPIC. I understand that this new EPR system will mean that paper medical records will cease to exit. I believe also that with the new EPIC system patients medical records will be available right across ESNEFT. Whilst I can appreciate this is a very positive move forward in patient care I am concerned about two specific issues as follows: 1. I understand that in order to create sufficient clinical/admin time at future outpatient appointments to enter the patients medical records into the EPIC system, it may be necessary to reduce the number of appointments within each outpatient clinic for a period of time. Is this correct? 2. What back up procedures will be in place should the Epic system breakdown or be prevented from working due to any Cyber attack? Finally, is there anything that the patient can do to facilitate this major change in how their medical records will be kept. Thank you for taking the time to consider my questions and I look forward in due course to your reply. Keith Beaman (Ranworth PPG Chairman
