Changes to the NHS App
NHS App no longer available on older devices
The NHS App is no longer accessible as a mobile app for anybody using older devices. Patients using the following operating systems will no longer be able to access the NHS App via the mobile app:
- iOS 12, 13 & 14 (iOS 13 &14 can be updated to iOS15)
- Android 6
- Android 7
The NHS App is now only supported on:
- Android version 8 and above (on devices with a front-facing camera)
- Apple iOS version 15 and above
- Web browser: nhsapp.service.nhs.uk/login
Guidance on checking and updating devices is available on the NHS.UK website.
This change is following a recent redesign of the NHS App, which now operates as a native app, improving its functionality and structure. As part of this transition, users are being moved off the old legacy application onto the new version.
If you cannot use the NHS App on a mobile device, you can log in through the NHS website. You can then access services on your desktop, laptop computer, mobile or tablet using a web browser. See step by step video guidance showing how to use the NHS account on the NHS website

Women’s Health
As a part of a national ten-year drive to improve the health and wellbeing of all women, people and organisations. Suffolk and north east Essex (SNEE) have been working to shape better local health services. Healthwatch are supporting this women’s health programme to make sure people’s experiences and views are included to shape future care and support.
You can read more about how you can share your views, opinions and lived experience of using local services now by visiting https://healthwatchsuffolk.co.uk/womenshealth/
You can also take part in the women’s health engagement (March 2024). The SNEE Women’s Health Insight and Oversight group is coordinating engagement to shape services and support for women across SNEE. Together with our co-production team, the group has developed a local survey for people to anonymously share their views and experiences.
Please note: This project includes those who identify as women but may not have been born female and those who were born female but may no longer identify as a woman.
Complete the survey and support the engagement with local people by going to
