Carers Voices
Healthwatch Essex are running a survey to gather information about unpaid carers and employment.
For many unpaid carers, balancing employment with caring responsibilities can be an uphill struggle. Carers often face significant barriers to securing meaningful and sustainable employment. This survey produced on behalf of Essex County Council aims to explore those barriers and provide better insights to inform the changes needed by policymakers, employers, and support organisations. Suicide Prevention
As part of their commitment to making suicide prevention everybody's business, the Suffolk Public Health Suicide Prevention Team invite you to the fourth in a series of webinars that explore various themes and issues that can impact individuals and prompt them to consider taking their own lives.
Making suicide prevention everybody's business is crucial because it's the interactions people have with each other that have the potential to make a real difference, at work and in our home lives. This month, the focus is on domestic abuse.

Loneliness Reduction Training Coming to West Suffolk!
Do you work for a Suffolk organisation that is connected to people experiencing loneliness? These can be organisations that promote social, mental, and physical wellbeing. If so, then Norfolk & Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust in collaboration with Civil Society Consulting and other partners invite you to book onto their new loneliness reduction training.
The training is currently aimed at grassroots organisations or statutory sector professionals working within the local area who are connected to people experiencing loneliness. However, the course can be adapted for all.
The workshops are to be split over two days.

Making Suicide Prevention Everybody's Business Webinar Series 2025
As part of their commitment to making suicide prevention everybody's business, Public Health Suffolk invite you to attend the second in a series of webinars that will explore various themes and issues that can impact individuals and prompt them to consider taking their own lives.
Making suicide prevention everybody's business is crucial because it's the interactions people have with each other that have the potential to make a real difference. This month, the focus is on Substance Misuse.

Suffolk and North East Essex ICS ‘Can Do’ Health and Care Awards 2025
Our first ICS ‘Can Do’ Health and Care Awards took place in 2024, and the winners were announced at our annual EXPO event. The awards were a huge success in highlighting the extraordinary achievements of individuals, teams and collaborations across our health and care system.
This year our ten Awards categories reflect our ICS ‘Future Shift’ Integrated Care Strategy plus a few additional categories building on our experience last year.
We want to celebrate those who deserve special recognition for making ‘Can Do’ health and care a reality in Suffolk and North East Essex. This could be your team, yourself or someone that you know. We particularly welcome nominations that include collaboration between local teams or organisations that benefits the health and wellbeing of local people, carers, families or communities.

The Assembly is a group who support people with lived experience and the workforce to come together to improve health and care services. The group develops and learn from each other – a community of practice for involvement, co-production and co-delivery.

The Locality Partnership Platform on Let’s Talk SNEE aims to empower local assets to integrate and collaborate, collectively develop priorities and actions, improve relationships between organisations and inclusively communicate to enable the voice of our community to be heard.
