MAT: Neonatal Family Integrated Care

Consultation has concluded

Many UK neonatal units are working towards a family-integrated model of care, having learned that this improves outcomes for babies and makes the experience of having a preterm or poorly baby less traumatic for parents and families.

“One of the greatest challenges of family integrated care delivery is for staff to embrace new roles; supporting families, listening to them and hearing what really matters to them.” BAPM, 2021

To support our improvement work, we are asking parents to tell us about their experiences during their baby's/babies' stay under neonatal care. We are very grateful for your contribution which will help us to focus on the things that matter most to families.
