Doctors appt yesterday, diagnosed with a digital mucoid cyst. He drew a great picture to explain what is happening and why. Referral to a hand surgeon. Superb patient experience.

Visited a podiatrist in Sudbury. A quick effective solution to a niggling little problem. Also, attended a meeting where members of our local Primary Care Network were looking at development of websites for the group. Another highlight of the week was watching the combine harvester pass by the foot of our garden as it carried on its annual harvest task. Noisy, dusty, and thrilling.

Waiting for Aortic Valve Replacement at Papworth

Finally in the last 48 hours of my wait - after an initial 6 week delay from the start of June (first surgeon appointment on April 11th) and then a cancellation of July 22nd. Really informative and encouraging communications at every stage. However, I've been warned it could still be cancelled......
