Shaping Direct Payments & Personalisation in Suffolk

💬 Join Our Closed Group: Shaping Direct Payments & Personalisation in Suffolk

As part of co-designing Suffolk County Council’s approach to direct payments and personalisation, some participants expressed interest in staying involved and continuing to shape the work. We’ve created a closed group to make that possible — and we’d love for you to join us.

👥 Who Can Join?

We welcome anyone who:

  • Lives in Suffolk or supports someone who does
  • Cares about improving adult social care
  • Has experience with or interest in Direct Payments, which give people more choice and control over how their care needs are met

🛠️ What Will You Do?

This group helps us test and improve letters, forms, processes, and documents to make sure they’re clear and useful for the people who use them — whether that’s individuals receiving care or their carers.

You’ll be invited to:

  • Review materials before they’re finalised
  • Share feedback in private discussions
  • Help ensure our communications are truly person-centred

🔒 Why a Closed Group?

This space allows us to share drafts and ideas securely. Only group members can see the discussions, and we ask that documents are not shared outside the group.

📅 How It Works

  • You’ll be notified whenever a new discussion begins
  • You’re free to respond — but there’s no obligation
  • We’ll always aim for realistic deadlines, and we welcome your feedback if they’re not

If you’re passionate about making adult social care more inclusive and effective, this is a great way to make your voice heard. Ready to get involved? Then register on Let's Talk SNEE at www.letstalksnee.co.uk/register then return to this page and complete our group joining form below.
