An enjoyable time spent on a May Sunday morning with my daughter, Sophie. We walked to the nature reserve but a shuttle minibus was also available to/fro if required. There was parking available in local business premises for convenience.
We recorded bird song on the Merlin app and entered the hides quietly to observe the birds. We were greeted by volunteers who shared their knowledge of the wildlife and their binoculars so we could pinpoint species of interest. There was also information boards for interest.
