Thank you for your interest in the Community Services I&O Group for Suffolk (excluding Waveney). All are welcome to join! We are specifically recruiting people representing different communities to ensure that the project is as accessible and inclusive to everyone as possible. Please read the following information and use the form below to sign up! Your answers will be only be shared with the SNEE ICB teams responsible for this project, but email addresses will be shared to the wider group for the purposes of this work.
Community Services I&O Group proposed purpose
To develop and deliver the engagement with people and communities, enabling people with lived experience to have an active role in shaping future Community Services specifications through design, procurement, delivery and evaluation.
Who
The I&O Group will have representation from:
- Commissioners and those responsible for Suffolk’s Community Services.
- Community engagement and co-production leads.
- Voluntary sector, community-based groups, individuals and organisations representing those impacted by health inequalities when accessing and receiving Community Services.
- Interested members of the SNEE People and Communities Assembly.
Timeline and commitment
Monthly 1.5 hour meetings October – December 2025
I&O Group membership is filled, and engagement toolkit is developed.
January 2026
Engagement toolkit is launched and I&O Group members gain insights from their communities and networks.
Monthly 1.5 hour meetings February – March 2026
I&O Group analyse results of the engagement and work towards agreed service specifications.
April 2026 onwards
I&O Group members continue to be updated with progress until procurement where they will have the opportunity to be part of co-designing the process and selection of providers.
Funding
We have secured limited funding for the I&O Group and engagement exercise. This will cover:
- Remuneration for voluntary sector, community-based groups, individuals and organisations representing those impacted by health inequalities related to Community Services*.
- Accessibility and inclusion.
- Design, communications and promotion.
* Up to a maximum of £750 across a minimum of 9 organisations who can commit to this work and engagement within their communities.
