Suffolk Individual Placement and Support for Severe Mental Health Illness Procurement

Working in partnership with people who have Severe Mental Health Illness (SMI) across Suffolk to share their lived experience and to be involved in the procurement process for Individual Placement Support helping people with Severe Mental Health Illness, to get back into work.


What does the Individual Placement and Support (IPS) do?

The IPS service is for adults with mental health needs and adults who have vocational needs or aspirations to gain employment. The target group for these services are for adults with mental health needs, those who are receiving support through secondary mental health services or have a diagnosed Severe Mental Health Illness.

What can you get involved with

•You can be part of creating a survey to gain feedback to feed into the new service specification

•You can be part of co-producing the service specification with the Suffolk and North East Essex Project Officer (Gail Cardy)

•You can be part of the procurement panel, including writing the questions, reviewing bids and scoring

•You can be part of the future meetings to monitor performance
