Climate and nature emergency

I would like to see more evidence that all parts of the NHS and allied partners are taking the climate and nature emregncy seriously. The government aren't. I realise there are things going on behind the scenes, but it is not happeneing fast enough. There is a lot of energy and plastic waste for example. Tablets and medicines produce a lot of unnecessary waste.

Better links with Public health to reduce obesity, poor diets, lack of supprt for breastfeeding is also a priority for me. It would save the NHS money to invest in these areas.

Bookings

I cannot understand why it is not possible to book an appointment for the following day. Following a request to see a doctor, after blood tests, it took me a week to see a doctor, following an eight a m visit to our surgery.

Dealing with getting older

Old age for me appeared to occur out of the blue, I like many joked about getting old but did not appear to be affected.A minor skin infection involved several weeks of visiting the nurses at the G P surgery which has not completely gone, The nurses were very kind and helpful at a time the were very busy.For the first time I realised how much I depended on and needed the NHS on a regular basis to deal with minor problems which affect my ability to continue to live a full life.Planning for the future is stressful and difficult…
