Mental Health Support

I appreciate the NHS and related services are under strain, and I cannot fault their friendliness, patience and professionalism, but I would like to mention my experiences trying to seek diagnosis to discover myself or any mental health related support has been very poor.

There's faults from point of contact and even when you think you might be getting somewhere, you're released from care swiftly and there is no follow-up. You have to keep asking for the support to get anywhere, but end up revisiting the same circle of issues. A good example of this is CBT - though it can be effective, a lot of conversations are simply repeated and can be an ineffective use of time for both the professionals and the patients.

This needs to change today.
